Work is progressing normally on improvements to the River Stage.
The Phase 1 projects include new production and storage rooms and a new ticketing building.
Phase One of the project carries a $1.3 million price tag and is on schedule to be completed by mid-March, in time for spring events at the River Stage.
Sidney Walker, the city’s civic events manager, said the upgrades are designed to better serve performers and promoters who use the venue.
The City of San Angelo is already in the planning phase for Phase 2 of the improvements, though funding has not been secured and no date to begin Phase 2 has been decided upon.
