Just days after announcing a new wealth tax on the state’s billionaires, many are fleeing California, as the taxes are going up by a proposed five percent – for billionaires.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom warned that the state’s richest residents would not take a new tax on their wealth lying down.

Newsom was right. Dozens of Silicon Valley and Hollywood elites are leaving.

Newsom said that his state is growing and that those with California Derangement Syndrome needed to update their talking points.

Billionaires said that taxes in California are too high, and that they are leaving for states such as Florida and Texas.
