City of San Angelo Appoints New Assistant Managers

The City of San Angelo has welcomed two new assistant city managers.

The city has appointed two people to fill its assistant city manager positions after the retirement of former assistant City Manager Michael Dane and the announcement of current assistant City Manager Rick Weise’s retirement.

According to the City, Shane Kelton, the City’s executive director of public works, and Tina Dierschke, the City’s finance director, will assume the roles previously held by Dane and Weise.

“Both Tina and Shane bring exceptional experience, integrity and leadership to these roles, and I am confident they will do an outstanding job serving our organization and our community,” City Manager Daniel Valenzuela said.
