NASA has returned Crew-11 to Earth after a medical issue occurred aboard the International Space Station.

A Crew-11 crew member aboard the station developed a serious medical issue aboard the station, requiring the crew to return early.

After splashing down near San Diego, California, early this morning, the crew were ferried by helicopter to a hospital for further medical evaluation.

Three additional crew members, including NASA astronaut Chris Williams, remain in orbit and will await the arrival of SpaceX Crew 12, which is scheduled to launch in the coming weeks.
